  • Can I see samples of your work?

  • What kind of machine do you have? How long have you been using it?

  • What is your turn-around time?

  • What do you charge for quilting? Batting? Thread? Trimming/squaring? Do you charge sales tax?

  • How dense do you quilt?

  • How do I choose my pattern? Will you make suggestions? What about thread type and color?

  • How much overage do you require for backing? Do you accept pieced backings?

  • What's your process if/when something goes wrong with the quilting?

  • What sets you apart from other longarm quilters?
